The first of two parts of a lecture about the control of vertebrate pests. Dr. Terrell P. Salmon, UC Cooperative Extension Wildlife Specialist, addresses UC Master Gardener students about identification, habitat requirements, behavior, and control methods of animal pests. Topics include habitat modification, population reduction, behavior modification and exclusion control methods. Squirrels and pocket gophers are featured.
